Doing Anything's Magical Photo-Journey, Part II
My family came and stayed in Bemidji this weekend so that the colonel (and the hermit) could participate in the fifth day of shooting.

As you can see, I was pretty excited for the colonel to be here.
It was an all-day outdoor shoot, centered around a crazy man and his yard full of junk. Creating a yard full of junk was a problem in and of itself, but keeping the pile arranged just-so to avoid continuity errors proved to be one of the biggest headaches of the day.

I would occasionally have to reposition the junk when certain individuals took it upon themselves to arbitrarily move stuff around - though I'm not mentioning any names.
Though the hermit didn't have an acting part, his assistance was invaluable on Saturday.

He kept a constant eye on where we were in the storyboards (something that I struggle to do when I have to act) and he filled in admirably when we were short a cameraman.
Brian was also there to reprize his role of the nerd from Starting Tomorrow. A couple of times, the Professor snuck up behind Brian and hit him in the back of the head with a toaster. Amazingly, they're still friends (I think).
There would be a picture of that, but blogger isn't letting me upload any more right now. I'll try to put a few more up later.

Fun stuff!
Oh the joy of making a movie...
I blame Aaron for not getting me out of my trailer soon enough to rehearse. I asked for at least 4 espressos and only got 2. Ridiculous. I swear I'll never work for Aaron again. I don't think he takes my talent seriously.
Brian
And then I don't even get a picture. Pshh. That is it Aaron. We're fighting.
I want to post some triumphant pics of my debut on the Band Blog, but 3 things prevent it.
1. Laziness
2. The fear that my performance will just end up on the virtual cutting room floor anyway, or at least on an episode of MST3K.
3. The Police have returned, and now they want MY ID instead of the Director's. How's THAT work?
I think I'll just link to your stuff.
it was a nice putter! and it's not like everything came crashing down. geez.
sincerely,
girl
