Whither is fled...
As most of you probably know, today is the Jilb's birthday.
What you probably don't know is that part of her birthday celebration required me to forfit my number one goal in life -- namely to die without ever seeing the movie Titanic.
Well, now I've seen it, and the dream is dead -- as dead as that one guy in the water at the end of the movie.
So I guess it's time to begin focusing on lifelong goal number two -- to find Jerry Bruckheimer and punch him square in the mouth.

You live such a meaningful goal-filled life. I honor that.
My lifelong goal was to die without ever going to the Mall of America. As my family well knows, I sacrificed that dream in order to give us all SOMETHING to do in the middle of a difficult, summer long home renovation.
At least I still haven't seen "Titanic".
Ha-ha...Jilb's a year older.
I've sat through that movie far too many times. It never gets better.
I can't stand sitting through a movie when I know how it ends- so obviously I have not seen it. Glad I'm not missing anything. But YOU are a wonderful husband for doing that!!!!
Curious...why Jerry Bruckheimer? Why not James Cameron? Or atleast Quentin Terintino?

I'm proud of you. As a woman, I see it as a beautiful movie, but you are a guy... so sorry, it must have been torture! But, you wife is completely worth it! Love you both!
