Crap

After cruising through the regular season, Team Ramrod, my intramural flag football team, played its first playoff game today -- and lost.

We couldn't recover from a first half that included three interceptions, a handful of penalties, and an offensive touchdown called back on a suspect ruling. We fought hard after halftime, essentially "winning" the second half, but it ended up being too little, too late.

And to add insult to injury, the team we lost to was called the Minnesota Vikings.

That shouldn't happen, man.

(As for the picture, I know it isn't football related, but whenever I think of the despair of losing a big game, the image above is the one that comes to mind -- even if they were the "bad" team.)

If it makes you feel any better, there's a cool football picture of you going in the Northern Student this week.

Yes, it does make me feel better (although I imagine the picture probably captured me making one of those hideous athletic-grimaces -- like someone just kicked me in the nuts or something).

And yes, I did throw those interceptions. But unlike Culpepper, I mixed in a few touchdowns as well.
