Amends

All right, I'll admit it--I feel kind of bad about the lack of posting this summer, especially when I think of those (Drew) who worked in computer labs all summer and had nothing better to do than check my blog, on average, ten times an hour in the vain hope that I might actually post something.

Those unhappy souls were disappointed, roughly, 4,795 times throughout the summer as they checked my blog and found no updates. But on a few, rare occasions, when I actually posted something, they were really disappointed--almost suicidal, in fact--realizing that they had wasted their precious summer hours waiting for what turned out to be a lame booger joke. (Is there any other kind?)

Well, I'm here to make amends.

I realize that nothing I write from this point on could possibly make up for this dry and barren summer. So I won't even try. Rather, I'm going to go back...to the future!

Er, rather, back...to the past!

In other words, using my skills of a time-traveler, I'm going to journey back through the summer--only this time I'll blog along the way.

So be amazed, loyal reader, as the story of my summer appears before your very eyes.
