Them's the Breaks

I decided today that it's high time I took a break for spring. I decided this when I looked at my food shelves and found that I was all out of pop-tarts, cookies, and Fudge Rounds. So instead of starving to death, I figured it's time to go home and stock up on the good stuff. (I have a fifteen-year-old brother; he's bound to have a stash.)

Besides breaking from starving, I also needed a break from writing and film stuff.

Evidence? Here is a direct quote from the latest paper I turned in to my Advanced Writing class.

There once was a snail
Who carried a pail.
He went to the bank one day
To collect his pay.

I said the snail, the snail;
He really was cute.
But he robbed a bank
To pick up some loot.

It went on like that for six more stanzas. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I'm in college.

Drew's also been working hard to get our film's website and trailer up and running. I've been hard at work asking him questions like, "Is the website done yet?" and "Are you finished with the trailer?"

Well, after all that work, the website for Starting Tomorrow is now officially up at doubledeucepictures.com. It doesn’t have a whole lot right now, but keep checking it about fifty times an hour, cause we’re constantly adding stuff.

It does has a teaser trailer (though it may not play just yet) and we're hard at work on a longer theatrical trailer that will reveal a bit more of our so-called "plot." And when I say "we're hard at work," I mean he's sitting there splicing together clips and audio, and I'm sitting behind him, sipping a Coke, and bugging him to play basketball.

Sometimes, after a few long hours, I have to walk all the way back to my room to grab another Coke. You can see why I need a break.

I'm eating some rice crispies. Rice crispies go good with the teaser trailer--both... both do something, and that something is very -- VERY -- witty. Actually the trailer made the rice crispies taste better.

Way to go trailer.

(i.e. Way to go Reinman. Give all the guys a high-five for effort)
