Amazing

All right, the Reinman is back.

If anyone's really dying to know, (and I'm talking, you're dangling over an alligator pit or something) my absence was due to extreme laziness. I would like to thank Drew for the fine job he did filling in for me.

I asked him what he thought about writing on the blog, and he admitted that he was a little nervous. He said, "I only get one shot, and I don't want to miss my chance to blow."

Whatever that means.

Anyway, big show tonight, lots to talk about, so let's keep it movin' along.

Playoff game #2 for the flag football team was this afternoon. We were matched up against the best team in the league. Well, they were the best team in the league. A 45 to 18 win has now placed us among the elite. The semifinal game is tomorrow, and if we win, the championship is on Monday.

Not bad for a team that lost three out of its first four.

It kind of reminds me of another amazing run. (If anything about intramural flag football could be considered "amazing." Let's not go overboard here--like a lot of fantasy football guys seem to do. Eh, pay no mind to that last comment. I'm just bitter cause my team really sucks.)
