Big Changes
I'm back.
You might have noticed that a few things have changed around here. Of course, I have no way of verifying that. (Ooh, it's really tempting to go off on a tangent about that, but I have to try and stay focused now.)
Why do I have to stay focused? And should I be referring to something that I said in parenthesis? Isn't the information in parenthesis intended to be optional? Doesn't the reader have the freedom to disregard parenthesis and still fully understand the material?
Not on this (website).
Anyway, I have to focus because this blog is now worth mega-points. ("What?" you, the reader, interject. "I thought you were writing this blog purely for your own and your audience's amusement. Not for some dumpy class. You sold us out, man.")
Hey now. Let's not jump to any conclusions. Haha, no, of course I haven't sold anybody out. I'm still selling in, man. When I was talking about "mega-points," I was referring to, um, football points. You know, like what the Vikings score.
Yeah, that's it. This blog is now worth, like, 95 points. That's a mega-amount.
("I don't buy it. And what's with the new blog links? I thought you only wanted people to look at your blog.")
I still do. I just thought it would be good to link to some of my classma- um, I mean, my teammate's blogs. You know, my teammates in the *sigh* National Blogging League.
("The 'NBL,' huh? Nice. I would really drop the lame, football cover up. You're just making it worse--for all of us.")
You know what couldn't be any worse? My opponent's latest defeat! 'This week in NBL action, the "You Never Can Tell with Bees" topped the "Follow me Heres" 95 to 3. Back to you Dan Patrick.'
("Man, I'm getting out of here while I can. This is embarrassing for both of us.")
Haha, thanks Stu. In other NBL news...
* * *
Ok, ok, I smacked myself around a little and came to my senses.
I'll admit it. Yes, I'm doing this for a class, thus the longer and (supposedly) more focused entries. But rest easy. Nothing, I repeat, nothing significant is going to change about this site.
Oh, except for the title. I changed that.
It now reads: "You Never Can Tell with Bees and other Laymen Philosophies"
Instead of: "You Never Can Tell with Bees and the Philosophy of College Students"
I changed it because no one wants to read about college students. We're irritating and insufferable.
By the way, is it "Laymen Philosophies" or "Layman Philosophies"?
Someone please comment on the correct version, or the site could go down.
Permanently.
